All the servers we use are hosted by professional datacentres, and managed 24x7 by their professional technicians and server administrators. In the event of a web hosting problem with one of the servers or server networks, it may not immediately appear on this page, however the datacentre technicians will usually have already identified the issue, and will be working on resolving it as soon as they can. Please don't be alarmed if there currently appears to be an issue with a server, but it doesn't yet appear on this page, as we operate this page independently from the datacentres. This page will also normally only be updated during normal New Zealand business hours.

RSS Subscribe Change to PHP 5.3 session handling on Albany Network

Our providers will change the PHP 5.3 cluster's session handler to the default tomorrow morning.  This is being put through with urgency as there have been intermittent issues with the current setup.

RSS Subscribe Scheduled Maintenance: Shared Mail Platform

Our providers are carrying out maintenance on the Premium Unmetered Shared Mail platform on 11/04/2013 between the hours of 10:00pm and 11:00pm.


Start Time: 11/04/2013 - 10:00pm
End Time: 11/04/2013 - 11:00pm


Impact: Access to mailboxes via POP, IMAP and Webmail will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes whilst this work is completed. Work will be carried out in two blocks with each affecting approximately 50% of shared mail users at a time.

Users will be prompted for a username and/or password (depending on the email client software used) when attempting to access their mailbox. No incoming mail messages will be lost; all incoming mail will be queued on our mail exchangers and delivered at the completion of the maintenance period. Outgoing mail and authenticated SMTP services will continue to function as normal, but saving a sent message to the Sent folder via IMAP will fail.

RSS Subscribe Minor Email Issue for some clients

Time: 09:00 until 09:05

There was a brief email authentication issue in our email cluster which impacted some customers on our Unmetered hosting plans hosted in the Maxnet datacentre. This problem is now resolved and this RSS is just to acknowledge the issue.


No mail has been lost as a result of this issue and any mail backlog should have been cleared by 09:15.




RSS Subscribe Major Website Updates Coming

We are making some major changes to our website over the next few weeks, along with a brand new fresh website and design. 


Some changes have already been made. This will be the first major update we have had on our website in over 5 years. This may result in some issues and broken links on our websites. If you do notice any broken links, please email us. This will not affect any client websites.

RSS Subscribe Unscheduled Server Maintenance:

RSS Subscribe Network issue at CPanel hosting datacentre.

One of the Datacentres ISPs had a router go down at approximately 10:38am, which meant traffic was automatically rerouted, but caused very high traffic loads. When they notice this issue, they shut them down and it took 180 seconds for routes to re-converge to our other carriers, and it should have been fully resolved by 10:42am. This resulted in less than 5 minutes of network downtime, before it was fully resolved. We apologise for any inconvenience





RSS Subscribe Wellington Earthquakes and Office disruptions

As you may already know Wellington and upper parts of the South Island were rocked by a severe earthquake this morning, causing quite a bit of damage. The regions continues to be rocked by severe aftershocks. We hope everyone is safe and ok across NZ.

Our main office has been disrupted by the Wellington earthquakes. As a result of the quakes, we have had periods of no power or internet  access. So this may affect our ability to respond to enquiries during this time. We may have more power outages as aftershocks continue to strike our offices. 

Our web hosting services however are not affected in anyway. The servers are housed in professional datacentres in Auckland, Wellington and overseas, and are designed to withstand these types of earthquakes. So please bear with us during this time.






RSS Subscribe Auckland Wide Intermittent Network Issue - Resolved

We are aware that there are currently intermittent network issues in the Auckland region affecting all providers. This is affecting some customers from accessing systems on the Lounge Networks, and the wider internet. Our network engineers are monitoring this issue and working with upstream providers where appropriate to minimise the impact on our customers.

Update: Our upstream has confirmed that this issue is now resolved.
